If something went wrong with a render, tell us roughly when it happened and what you asked for. You do not need to send the image.
How they work. The viewfinder, framelines, depth-of-field maths and projects are free and unlimited. Only AI renders cost credits, because only they cost real compute. One render, one credit.
They never expire, and they are tied to your Apple Account rather than to the phone, so they survive a new device or a reinstall. On a new phone, open Credits and tap Restore purchases.
A render that fails is refunded automatically. If a render failed and the credit did not come back, write to us and we will put it back by hand.
Open Credits and tap Restore purchases first — that re-checks your purchases with Apple. If the balance is still wrong, email us. Tell us which pack you bought and roughly when, and we will sort it out.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. We cannot issue a refund on Apple's behalf, but if something in the app is the reason you want one, tell us — we would rather fix it.
Every render has a Report this render button underneath the image. It takes a reason and an optional note, and the report reaches us directly for review. Use it — it is how we find the cases the safety filter misses.
Cinevisor computes the field of view from the sensor mode's real dimensions and the focal length, then crops the phone's camera to match. If a body, sensor mode or lens looks wrong, or one you use is missing, email us the make and model and the spec you have. The camera and lens database ships with the app and gets updated.
A render needs a network connection and normally takes between ten and thirty seconds. On a scout with one bar it can take longer. The viewfinder itself never needs the network, so you can keep framing and capture now, then render the shot later from the project.
The viewfinder runs entirely on your phone. A photo is uploaded only when you tap Render, and it is not stored on our servers. The full details are in the privacy policy.
